Gardaland is the biggest and most famous amusement park in Italy, with almost 40 attractions for kids and adults, five theaters and show areas, restaurants, a hotel and even an Aquarium (Gardaland Sea Life). Gardaland is easily accessible from all nearby towns, such as Lazise, Bardolino and Peschiera del Garda.
The park is divided into different thematic areas, inspired by different stories or movies, such as Camelot, Kung Fu Panda Academy, Peppa Pig Land, Rio Bravo (in Mexican style), the Fantasy Kingdom, and many others.
Gardaland is located in Castelnuovo del Garda, near the highway exit and train station of Peschiera del Garda: a free shuttle bus service will take you from the station to the park every 30 minutes. The park mascot, Prezzemolo, will welcome you with open arms!
Gardaland offers a wide choice of rides, classified in Fantasy, Adventure, and Adrenalyn, depending on what you’re looking for (and age groups). Here are the most famous!
Prezzemolo’s Tree, the Magic House (Fantasy)
It’s the first attraction you see while entering the Park. You can visit the house of the Park mascot, Prezzemolo, located on a magic tree, but also explore its mysterious dungeons.
It’s surrounded by water slides and provided also with a water cannon, to defend the realm from its enemies!
Blue Tornado (Adrenalyn)
It’s one of the most famous attractions in Gardaland. Blue Tornado is an adrenalinic roller coaster that will let you experience the thrills of a Top Gun pilot, riding at 80 km per hour (50 miles per hour).
If you want more adrenalyn, you can try the other two famous roller coasters of the Park: Oblivion and Raptor.
The Corsairs – The vengeance of the ghost (Adventure)
If you’re looking for adventure, the pirates themed area is the right place for you: you will travel along an underground river that leads to the Island of Tortuga.
Here, you’ll meet pirates, skeletons, sea monsters, and you’ll take part in battles and fightings.
Kung Fu Panda Academy (Fantasy)
Are you a Kung Fu Panda fan? Come meet legendary Po and all his friends! You will learn how to master the noble Kung Fu art, and you’ll become a Dragon Warrior.
You can also try the new roller coaster and fly in Kung Fu Panda’s soup bowls.
Jungle Rapids (Adventure)
Are you ready to ride through the rapids and the ancient temples of a mysterious jungle? Jump on the rubber dinghy and prepare yourself to get wet!
The River is waiting for you: you will sail it through the ruins of an ancient asian village.
