In a nutshell
The thermal water of Bardolino has a very pleasant and light taste; its chemical composition makes it a water particularly suitable for hydroponic treatments, that consist in the intake of mineral water.
It is also used in hydrotherapy practices, i.e. those in which treatments include baths, compresses, and physical exercise immersed in water at different temperatures or pressures.
In addition, the Thermal Water of Bardolino is excellent for purifying treatments, especially with regard to the kidneys and liver.
Hotel Caesius offers a wide range of treatments, among which of course you can not miss the different types of baths in thermal water: for example you can do thalassotherapy and bathe in a jacuzzi with the water of Bardolino.
You can also try a personalized phytobalneotherapy (i.e. the bath in infusions of aromatic medicinal plants), but also ozone bath.
Finally, you cannot miss the Kneipp path, during which a barefoot walk through the waters of a stream is simulated, which is particularly beneficial for blood circulation.
The Wellness Area
Hotel Caesius Thermae & SPA Resort wellness experience also includes a large area with different types of saunas: the typical Finnish sauna, between 70°C and 90°C (160-195° F), the Mediterranean Sauna, between 50°C and 60°C (122-140°F), Turkish Bath or Calidarium (with steam), and Frigidarium.
In the wellness area there are also emotional showers, private spas and a fitness area with a fully equipped gym. Free yoga lessons are held here every week for guests.
Finally, you can immerse yourself in a large indoor swimming pool with water heated to 33 °C (92°F) and with the hydromassage function, as well as large relaxation rooms where you can rest and enjoy a regenerating herbal tea.

The hotel has 160 comfort rooms and 30 suites, to satisfy even the most demanding guests. In addition to the à la carte menu, the restaurant also offers the possibility of following a “detox menu“, specially designed for the well-being of all guests.

Hotel Caesius Thermae & SPA Resorts is easily reachable by car.
If you come from the A4 Milan-Venice motorway, take the exit “Peschiera del Garda” and follow directions for Bardolino for about 12 km (7.5 miles). Once in Cisano di Bardolino, carry on for 200 m (0.1 mile) and you will see the Hotel Caesius Thermae Spa on your right.
Coming from the A22 Modena-Brennero motorway take the exit “Affi” and follow directions for Bardolino for 7 km (4 miles). Once in Bardolino, turn left at the roundabout, following the signs for Lazise, and after about 2.5 km (1.5 miles) you will find the Hotel Caesius Thermae Spa on your left.
If you arrive by train or by plane, you’ll be happy to know that free transfers from Verona-Villafranca Airport, as well as from the railway stations of Verona Porta Nuova and Peschiera are available. The free transfer has to be booked at least 48 hours before arrival or departure.
