MONTE BALDO
Malcesine, Lake Garda

Moreover, from its height you can enjoy a breathtaking landscape over the lake, which is even more impressive if you take the cable car that connects Malcesine to the top of the mountain.

Take the Malcesine Cable Car and get to the top of Monte Baldo!

One of the main attractions of Monte Baldo is certainly the spectacular cable car that connects Malcesine, at the foot of the mountain and overlooking the lake, with the top of the mountain. Without a doubt, this is the best way to enjoy a unique view of Lake Garda

The Cable Car “Malcesine – Monte Baldo” is actually two different cableways: one from the town center of Malcesine to San Michele, and the second one from San Michele to Tratto Spino.

The first Cable car starts in the Cableway Station of Malcesine, in via Navene Vecchia 12 and arrives at the Cableway Station of San Michele (in via San Michele 49, Malcesine), at an altitude of 580 meters

The second Cable Car starts in San Michele and brings you on Monte Baldo near Tratto Spino, a pass at an altitude of 1780 meters.

The Cable Car “Malcesine – Monte Baldo” is one of the most modern in the world and has a special feature: to allow passengers to better appreciate the view, the cabins rotate on themselves at 360 degrees (very slowly, of course).

The entire route, excluding the time to change cabin at San Michele, takes about 20 minutes.
